Whatever you want it to be but i like it to be a funky jazz blues fusion topped with a shiny red cherry.
Not really, I just love that song, damned catchy

Went to the park near our dinky apartment today with Frank, Ry and Pete for a lovely picnic, except I guess you couldn't really call it a picnic as all we had were a bunch of Reece's pieces, some jack n' coke and some various candy bars but we meant it to be all sweet and kiddy like anyway, that's what picnics are.

Ryan brought the guitar, just because I'd dragged him out for the picnic whilst he was slumming around the house playing-it was a nice day! You can't sit inside!- Anyways, he came out on condition that he brought the geetar with him. We were just sitting around, enjoying the sun when Ry decides it's time to have a little sing song and us all being in a nice happy mood, we were quite keen to join in with singing along etc...

So Ryan gives the guitar to me, and it was either the sun or too many jack n' cokes but I decide that the song " I Touch Myself" is very appropriate to be singing loudly in the park and so prompty start playing and singing at the top of my lungs. A little crowd of about 8 or 9 people suddenly start to appear around us, quite cautiously, like we were zoo animals on a day out. It soon got bigger and the people seemed to be enjoying the song immensely, until one woman came along....it just so happened that the schools nearby had just finished up for the day and there were a lot of kids in the park, she wasn't amused by the risque lyrics of the song. Funnily though, our miniature crowd booed her but she was unfazed. I stopped singing and decided that yeah, maybe she was right, that was a bit wrong to be singing that song and I was feeling sheepish till Pete grabbed the guitar and yelled, "here's one for the kiddies "before belting out a riveting version of " The Wheels on the Bus" and then " Baa Baa black sheep" in a sort of Sid Vicious like snarl. It was awesome. Our mini crowd was all hyped up again and some kiddies even came around to sing too. It ended up like a major sing song on a really hot sunny day-it was so, so perfect...honestly, like I don't know, like you couldn't even dream something like this to be real. Everybody just seemed so united in sitting around on this lovely day and singing little dumb ditties. It was immense.

We didn't leave the park till 10.30pm and even then we didn't want to, it was only because it started to get really cold. Ryan's still going on about how great it was to have so many people just come together over on guy and his guitar. Of course, I'm sharply reminding him that he was not alone in this and that we all deserve a little credit. Ok, except Frank, who's not musically gifted in anyway, he just kinda sat there, if he'd have sung anything it would have seriously killed the atmosphere. Anyways, it was a great day and I just wanted to share it with everybody!

some of my fondest memories are from hanging out down at the lake, with a couple friends and their guitars, just singing songs, fishing, and drinking beer.  (i passed on the weed when it came around)

I can't sing to save my life, but I know all the words to the songs, so I'm good to have around to keep the song going...

Sounds like a pretty awesome day I definitely would have had a ball as one of your friends for the day/evening. A friend is having an afternoon party next weekend and I think I should take my G-tar! I'd better get brushed up on all my sing-along-songs
